MagTrack
A compact and accurate cable tracking system
The newly developed MagTrack is a cable tracker system with 4 small sensors which integrate 3-axis magnetometers and inclinometers. It can detect accurate cable positions, typically in front of and in the rear of an ROV or trencher. The purpose of the system is to locate and accurately position subsea cables relative to the ROV or trencher for maintenance and cable burial.
How it works

MagTrack
A compact system for location and tracking of subsea cables. MagTrack can fit even on smaller ROVs thanks to its 4 compact 3-axis magnetometers and built-in attitude sensors.
Available in depth ratings:
500m, 1500m and 3500m (seawater)

MultiTrack
A compact system for cable fault detection and precise pinpointing. The MultiTrack system is currently under development and is being tested spring 2024.

500 and 1500m (seawater)

MagTrack Transmitters
A compact search signal generator for the MagTrack system to be used on non-energized cables.
Available as land-based and subsea systems with possible configurations for both conductive and inductive connections to the cables.
